This privacy policy describes how and why we might collect, store, use, and/or share your information when you use our services when you download and use LetsLicious app.

We use Your Personal data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

  • Account: A unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.
  • Application: The software program provided by Social Club Platform downloaded by you on any electronic device, LetsLicious.

  • Device: Any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.

It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.
  • Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).
  • You: Individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
  • We: Social Club Platform or Us or Our.

a) Google Sign up & Sign in

What information we will collect:

  • First & last name
  • Email address

How will this information be accessed?

We collect these attributes so you can create your profile with the most basic information. In order to give our users a custom experience, your first name and last name will be accessible to you and other LetsLicious users but it can be edited anytime in the app. Your email address is private & will not be accessed by anyone except you. You can view your email from your side menu in the app.

How will this information be used?

These attributes will be used in order to give transparency to other users who are accessing our app. Your first & last name can be changed by you. Your email will be in our database so that if you log out, you can log back in with ease.

How will this information be stored?

Every user has a specific document in our servers so that they can log in, log out and interact with other users without any interuption. WE use Google Firestore to store your data.

How will this information be shared?

We will not share your name and email with any third party so it is only visible to you and other LetsLicious app users. This login option does not collect interactions with the app for advertising purposes without consent. 

b) Apple Sign up & Sign in

c) Sign up with Email

We collect personal information that You provide Us:

  • First & last name
  • Dietary preference (i.e. Vegetarian)
  • Email address
  • Location
  • Profile picture (optional)
  • Craving status (optional)
  • Cuisine preference (optional)
  • Drink preference (optional)
  • Website (optional)
  • About yourself (optional)
  • Looking for (optional)
  • Hours of operation (optional for business owners)
  • Order and reservation links (optional for business owners)
  • Wifi offering (optional for business owners)
  • Password – When You sign up, you need to submit a password, it’s stored in Google’s database as a secure field and we do not have access to it.
  • Online/Offline“: Your profile will show online status if you are logged in & active otherwise it will be offline.

How do We keep your information safe?

We have processes and procedures in place to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so We can not promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal or modify your information.

Usage Data

This is collected automatically when using the service. Usage data may include information such as your device’s internet protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of Our service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. When You access the service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile internet browser that You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever You visit Our service or when you access the service by or through a mobile device. We may also send you push notifications regarding your account if You opt in.

What personal information do We process?

When You visit, use or navigate Our Services, we may process personal information depending on how You interact with Social Club Platform apps, the choices you make and the products and features You use.

How do We process your information?

We process your information to provide, improve and administer Our Services, communicate with You, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. To facilitate account creation and authentication, We process your information so you can create and log in to your account as well as keep your account in working order. To request feedback, We may process your information when necessary to request feedback and to contact You about your use of Our Services. To protect Our Services, we may process your information as part of Our efforts to keep Our Services safe and secure including fraud monitoring and prevention.

Data collected while using the Application

While using LetsLicious, in order to provide features of Our application, We may collect, with your prior permission:

  • Pictures and other information from your device’s camera and photo library.

We use this information to provide features of Our service, to improve and customize Our service. The information is uploaded to the Social Club Platform servers within Google Firebase and/or a Service Provider’s server or it may be simply stored on your device.

When and with whom do We share your data

We may share or transfer your information in connection with or during negotiations of any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business to another company. Also, we may share your information with certain Google Maps Platform APIs such as Google Maps API and Places API.

How long do We keep your information?

By default, below will apply to all users who use the LetsLicious app for free:

  • Image posts get deleted 30 days after being posted.
  • Private messages get deleted 30 days after being sent.
  • Channels messages get deleted 30 days after being sent.
  • Channels get deleted after 30 days of no activity by any of the channel participants.
  • In-app notifications get deleted 7 days (except who viewed your profile; 1 day) after being received.
  • Image post comments get deleted when the image posts get deleted.
  • Profile compliments don’t get deleted (unless profile deletion requested).
  • User profile information will be deleted when You request deletion.

We might introduce Premium membership in the near future that might have more flexibility in terms of the post, message etc… deletion timestamps.

Security of Your Data

The security of Your Data is very important to Us, but please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your  Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

3rd Party Providers

To provide you with our services we use the following third party providers:

  • Google Firebase: This is a hosting and backend service provided by Google LLC. It provides hosting & backend infrastructure for our apps.
    Personal Data collected: Usage Data and various types of Data as specified in the privacy policy of the service.
    Place of processing: United States – Privacy Policy
  • Google Firebase Auth – to authenticate users and use Firebase User ID for further authorization to access some application content.
  • Google Firebase Crashlytics – to collect information about crashes, that may include information about the device, such as OS version, vendor etc. This information may be used for debugging and app stability improvements.
  • Google Firebase Storage – to collect and store big files such as images, videos etc…
  • Google Firebase App Check – to protect our resources from abuse by preventing unauthorized clients from accessing our backend resources.
  • Google Firebase App Distribution – to improve our services and ask new or existing users to test the latest version of our apps.
  • Google Analytics for Firebase: Google Analytics uses the data to provide analytics and attribution information. The precise information collected can vary by the device and environment. Google Analytics retains ID-associated data for 60 days, and retains aggregate reporting and campaign data without automatic expiration, unless the Firebase customer changes their retention preference in their Analytics settings or deletes their project.

Google Firebase is part of the Google Cloud Platform and offers many services for developers. You can see which data are processed and for what purpose under data processing information: firebase.google.com/support/privacy/. Google Firebase often uses “instance IDs”, which, according to Google’s information, are stored until the end customer makes an API call to delete the ID. After that, the data will be deleted from the live and backup system 180 days after being called up. For more information, see: firebase.google.com/support/privacy/manage-iids.

We do our best to ensure these companies guarantee at least the same level of privacy protection as we provide.

Furthermore, we may be obliged to communicate personal data to third parties such as Public Authorities.

Social Club Platform apps may contain links to other sites. If You click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

GDPR Privacy

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data under GDPR

We may process Personal Data under the following conditions:

  • Consent: You have given Your consent for processing Personal Data for one or more specific purposes.
  • Performance of a contract: Provision of Personal Data is necessary for the performance of an agreement with You and/or for any pre-contractual obligations thereof.
  • Legal obligations: Processing Personal Data is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the Company is subject.
  • Vital interests: Processing Personal Data is necessary in order to protect Your vital interests or of another natural person.
  • Public interests: Processing Personal Data is related to a task that is carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the Company.
  • Legitimate interests: Processing Personal Data is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Company.

Your Rights under the GDPR

The Company undertakes to respect the confidentiality of Your Personal Data and to guarantee You can exercise Your rights.

You have the right under this Privacy Policy, and by law if You are within the EU, to:

  • Request access to Your Personal Data. The right to access, update or delete the information We have on You. Whenever made possible, you can access, update or request deletion of Your Personal Data directly within Your account settings section. If you are unable to perform these actions yourself, please contact Us to assist You. This also enables You to receive a copy of the Personal Data We hold about You.
  • Request correction of the Personal Data that We hold about You. You have the right to edit profile details within your profile view on the LetsLicious app.
  • Object to processing of Your Personal Data. This right exists where We are relying on a legitimate interest as the legal basis for Our processing and there is something about Your particular situation, which makes You want to object to our processing of Your Personal Data on this ground.
  • Request erasure of Your Personal Data. You have the right to ask Us to delete or remove Personal Data when there is no good reason for Us to continue processing it.
  • Request the transfer of Your Personal Data. We will provide to You, or to a third-party You have chosen, Your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Please note that this right only applies to automated information which You initially provided consent for Us to use or where We used the information to perform a contract with You.
  • Withdraw Your consent. You have the right to withdraw Your consent on using your Personal Data. If You withdraw Your consent, We may not be able to provide You with access to certain specific functionalities of the Service.

Exercising of Your GDPR Data Protection Rights

You may exercise Your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition by contacting Us. Please note that we may ask You to verify Your identity before responding to such requests. If You make a request, We will try our best to respond to You as soon as possible.

You have the right to complain to a Data Protection Authority about Our collection and use of Your Personal Data. For more information, if You are in the European Economic Area (EEA), please contact Your local data protection authority in the EEA.

SPAMMING…

If we receive multiple complaints about your account spamming other users or posting/sending anything inappropriate, your account will be banned from the LetsLicious app immediately. If we see that the users are abusing the platform’s community guidelines, we will also ban them from OUR app(s).

Privacy policy

LetsLicious app is all about FOOD & DRINKS theme. When someone has a post, comment, reply etc… that might offend anyone or if it’s irrelevant, it will be removed. If the user continues the same activity by posting irrelevant content, their involvement in the app will be minimized and eventually their account will be blocked from accessing the app.

Scamming…

If you think someone in the platform is trying to reach out to you with a scam request including money asks, please reach out to us. We will follow up with the account owner and if there are multiple complaints for the same account owner, we will ban their account.

WE do not encourage anyone in the platform exchanging money requests. If you want to exchange any type of money requests on the LetsLicious app, WE do not take any responsibility.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let You know via email and/or a prominent notice on Our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
